So as it was our anniversary, I brought a nice outfit BUT we were going back to town on the bikes so I packed my black strappy sandals in my new Swiss 🇨🇭 rucksack and put on my lovely new pink Adidas “Gazelle” trainers – aren’t they pretty ? And you guessed it – I didn’t change into the strappy sandals when we got to the restaurant !!!
Oooh but I had the BEST meal – crispy pork knuckle (Maria – half a pig 🐷 like Theo had in Warsaw !!!) with a lovely sauce accompanied by sauerkraut & boiled potatoes. And My Dave has steak with herb butter and when it came, it was literally a steak in the middle of the plate with a blob of herb butter on it !!!
He then had to order veg but it came quickly and he said it was delicious 😋 Dave then had the mandatory Black Forest Gateau and I had apple pie & cream. We were both tired so we cycled back to the van & got into bed with a cup of tea AND some alcohol and watched a film like a couple of old people 😂😂😂 💗💋xxx
