Camini Du Lac – HikingFest

Found a gem of a place. About 1500m up and isolated.  Hiker paradise.  There was a convention of some sort I guess.  They were everywhere, of all nationalities.  I don’t suppose the Chinese next to us took to the ‘Tour Dawn Chorus’ in the morning!  (farts, farts and more farts).

Camp Hobby 3

Interlaken, Switzerland.  My family home!  At least we feel at home there.

The place where we always ended up on trips to the ‘Continent’.  Before the EU of course.

Met up with Heidi as usual – she makes us sooo welcome.  Always asks about Paul (my Brother) and looks after us so well.

Jungfrau in full glory…

Maximator

Deadly stuff this.  I could only trust myself with one can.

This place was FULL of flies and mosquitos.  Nightmare.  I was bitten about 10 times.  Unusual for me.  Must have been the Maximator.

Dinant

At last, some wifi!

Arrived at Dinant – nice place by the river.  Saxophones galore.  I couldn’t trust myself to go shopping in case I bought another one!

Tracker woes

Stupid Vodafone.  Tracker SIM card roaming didn’t work.  So it stopped recording after the Eurotunnel port.

Switched it to an EE one and started up fine again.
